Wendy Weisz first started taking art classes in her mid-twenties at the Cuyahoga Community College. There she first delved into drawing, painting, and pottery. Wendy has been creating ever since but her favorite medium to use is acrylic. Wendy’s work includes many colorful and vibrant landscapes that captivate the viewer with their bold color choices and impressionist brush strokes. When not at the studio Wendy practices Reiki and incorporates crystals into her healing.  She is also working towards becoming a minister at the Newman Center through The Ohio State University. Wendy enjoys traveling with her family across the United States, taking in inspiration for future paintings. Wendy has competed in many Special Olympic events including track and field, swimming, and softball. She has also appeared in college textbooks and has been a spokesperson for the rights of people with disabilities.
