Our drivers strive to be courteous and attentive to all the needs of those who are in their care. They have all received the appropriate training to safely transport individuals with developmental disabilities, including a complete defensive driving course.
Additionally, each driver has been certified in administering CPR and First Aid in case of an emergency. CCHS offers a preferred driver program that allows our clients to choose who will take them on their trip.
With our diverse fleet of bubble top vans, buses, minivans, and cars, we can easily accommodate an individual’s special transportation needs. Most of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol has inspected all of them.
All Braun lifts are inspected and certified.
All vehicles are equipped with a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.
All vehicles have reflective triangles.
Pre-load vehicle inspection performed before every trip.
All items are secured in the vehicle at all times.
